round two: evaluating proposed corridors and service enhancements

The long-range planning team has analyzed the feedback that you provided to us during the first round of Community Workshops for transit planning. Now, taking that information and combining it with the science of transit planning and our knowledge of the region - population density, job centers, current travel patterns, etc. - we are presenting the potential service enhancement and expansion projects to address your concerns.

View the meeting presentation online or our interactive Workshop Webinar, and then send us your feedback via the comment form. This next phase of the long-range planning process centers on five considerations:

  • Community Workshop Results: View a summary of what the community told us during the first round of workshops, as well as future population and employment trends for the St. Louis region.
  • Foundation Values: Consider the eight values we consider when evaluating potential routes and service enhancements. We want to hear what you think of these values, which ones are most important to you, and whether you think additional values should be considered.
  • Potential System Enhancements: During our presentation at the Round Two meetings, we will outline potential service enhancements, which include possible restoration of the services that were reduced earlier this year because of budget constraints. We are asking meeting attendees to tell us which ones are more important to you and why.
  • Potential Expansion Projects: View the maps below showing potential expansion corridors, and let us know which routes you think are the most important for the region and why.
  • Financial Challenges and Opportunities: At the Round Two meetings, we are explaining the local, state, and federal financial challenges we face and opportunities available as a community for moving transit forward.
